Updates
April 20th,
2002.
Thanks to Mel for some great photos
of Michael on stage at SG4, which can be found here.
I've also put the picture
from Suddenly Naked up. I haven't actually gotten a response
from annewheeler.com
but since clicking on the picture on that site results in a prompt
to download a very high quality version of the photo, I thought
I'd take the chance. Many thanks to Steph
Hamilton, who originally submitted the photo and source URL.
Finally, apologies for the couple of
days downtime last week. It was unplanned and unavoidable, but the
good news is it really shouldn't happen again!
Regards,
Tk.

I've added two new graphics from Amy
to her Gallery page - two beautiful
Daniel Jackson wallpapers.
Also added two new links to the Links
page, and Suddenly Naked to the filmography,
thanks to a photo submission which alerted me to Michael's appearance
in this film <rolls eyes @ self>. I'm currently working on
getting permission to post that photo, and the right name to credit
the submission to!

Nope, no April Fools! Just a tiny bit
of information on Michael's latest
film, Children of the Monsoon.

More of an extension to yesterday's
update really. I added some of the comments from the Impact interview
to the Tribute to
Michael Shanks Music Video page.
Also, the main picture from the latest
SFX article is up, both on the article's
page and on the MS picture page.

Two more articles added, Action
Jackson and The Gate
Escape. (beginning to think Michael spent all his spare
time in London giving interviews! <g>)

Added latest news
about Michael's guest appearance on Stargate SG-1.

Another article,
this from Xpose. It's probably the most frank interview so far from
Michael.
Also, I've started adding some details
about Michael's roles. They can be accessed through the individual
links from the respective parts/shows in the filmography or from
the Role Details link
at the top of the filmography. Hope to add more info soon.

UMS now has a Guestbook
so you can stop by and leave a message if you so wish! Also, the
messageboard can now be accessed at http://board.michael-shanks.com.

Just one thing added - another article
by Thomasina Gibson, this time from the UK Starlog magazine. A little
different to previous ones since Michael gives his reaction to the
campaigns to Save Daniel Jackson and the support he received during
his Convention appearances and European Tour.
The photos in the article also appear
in the Daniel Jackson section in Pictures.

UMS has moved to a new server. Hopefully
there won't be any problems, but ya never know! Especially since
I have a whole load of new features to play with! <g>
I'd like to say thanx to Tamy for giving
UMS a home these past few months. Thank you Tam - you've been great!
New site additions - screen caps!!
Thanks to Sky One, I finally got a copy of Mary 25. Screen caps
can be found in the Pictures section. There's also more screen caps
from Manifest Destiny. I apologise for the quality, but that show
is not the easiest to make caps from.
There's also some news from InfinitelyBetter.com.

Firstly, Happy St. David's Day! (Patron
Saint of Wales)
As we approach the 5000 hits mark (wow!),
UMS has gone through a couple of changes - the most obvious being
the site's appearance. What do you think? Like it? Loathe it? Let
me know!
Also, I've made Mel Administrator of
the messageboard. Mel helps me an incredible amount behind the scenes
and I can honestly say that this site wouldn't be here without her.
Thanx hon.
Content added to the site: the news
page has information about Michael's next appearance on Stargate
SG-1. Michael's latest role has been added to the Filmography.

New addition to the gallery: Amy's
Daniel Jackson collages.
Also added a couple of photos from
SG4 - linked to from the Wolf SG4 page and the Pictures page. They're
not great quality but unfortunately they're the only ones I got
that are worth putting online.

And three weeks later... Yep, I've
finally got a report from SG4 up. No photos though - most of mine
didn't come out so I'm going to try to do something with them and
a graphics program.
On the plus side, the Cardiff report
now has a photo (right in the middle of it).
Apologes to anyone who's really bothered
by the colours on this site at the moment (I know I am!). I'm in
the process of redesigning it - mainly sorting out the colours and
dumping the frames. May be a while before that's uploaded though.
Apologies also to Amy, whose collages and images of Daniel Jackson
I haven't managed to upload yet.
Many thanks to Mel - you know why.

Okay, finally got around to editing
my report from Michael's signing session at Forbidden Planet. Hopefully,
photo will be along soon. As will SG4 report.
Meanwhile, there's some new pics! Screen
caps from the SG Behind the Scenes are on the Michael Shanks page;
there are also more caps from Andromeda, and a couple from Manifest
Destiny - not the easiest program to take captures from! There are
also two small ones of Daniel - sleeping in Fail Safe, and in the
slave outfit from Summit.
Will try to get more of Manifest Destiny
soon.

Tiny message added - a public thank
you to Michael and the other guests at SG4, and to the creators
of one of the music vids that was played at the con - my best friend
Mel, and her husband. I said in November that SG3 was one of the
best weekends of my life. It's just been topped.
There will be reports and photos. I
also still have those screen caps: from an SG behind-the-scenes,
Andromeda and Manifest Destiny. Oh and a report from the Cardiff
signing which just needs a bit of editing.
I know, I need to do more archive pages,
but I'm going to sleep first so I don't mess it up (I couldn't use
my own camera last week and I was 100% conscious for that!)
